Beijing Sino-Agricultural Biosciences Co., Ltd. recently introduced a new kind of storage and transport container for fruits and vegetables that can be managed through the cloud. These containers provide an easy and convenient solution for transport and storage of fruits and vegetables while the products remain fresh. Company spokesperson Siya recently explained their new product.

Siya first talked about some of the strengths of these new containers. "These are light gage steel joists with galvanized surfaces. They are light and durable. They are also rot-proof and look nice. On top of this frame we use an open PP mesh that allows for air-conditioning, which helps to keep the products fresh," said Siya. "The containers use a triangular rib design that makes a pile of containers steadier. These containers can be conveniently stacked and they can bear a lot of weight. The tall containers can be stacked twelve layers high, and the lower containers sixteen layers high. Moreover, the containers can be dismantled, which makes the transfer, storage, and transport of these containers convenient."

When asked about different requirements from various clients, Siya explained, "clients can select containers in different sizes on the basis of the fruit they transport. For example, tall containers are suitable for relatively hardy agricultural products such as apples, oranges, mangosteen, garlic, potatoes, and onions. While medium containers are suitable for softer fruits such as kiwi fruit, mango, sugar apples, and dragon fruit."

"Finally, our new fruit crates can be linked to online information management systems. Clients can use an app to gather information about their containers, design management, and produce forms. In this way the 'fruit', the 'container', and the 'people' are all linked. The flow of information, people, and products is all managed through the cloud, and can be traced, which makes it easier to reduce waste and improve work efficiency."
