The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of an ATV from a dealership in West Brunswick Township.

According to Troopers, the theft occurred on Friday, January 7th, 2022 around 3:40am when two unknown suspects entered the parking lot of Schaeffer's Motor Sports along Route 61 in a dark Dodge Ram Pickup truck, towing a trailer.

The suspects were able to gain access to the building and break into storage crates that were stacked against the wall containing new ATV's.

The suspects broke into the crates using a winch, loaded a brand new "Tundra Green" 2022 Can-Am Outlander Max DPS 570 onto their trailer and fled south on Route 61 south.

The Dodge Ram pickup truck used during the incident is described as having a lift package, with a yellow light bar on the roof, ladder rack, and tool compartments on each side of the bed.

The value of the ATV was valued at $9,349.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Schuylkill Haven Barracks at (570) 754-4600.

This was the same dealership where a suspect attempted to burglarize wearing a yellow hazmat/rain suit.

i wonder if its the same person that had the hazmat suit on, or if they are connected. could be some kind of "you go look, mark it, and i will come get it" tactic. they say "the criminal always returns to the scene of the crime".
