Brand new bulk carrier suffered fire in cargo hold, Yellow sea – Maritime Bulletin

Brand new bulk carrier, understood in her maiden voyage, suffered fire in cargo hold on Jan 4 at port, Yellow sea. Judging from photos, cargo was on fire – wooden boxes or crates. Fire was extinguished in the afternoon same day, extent of damages (understood cargo was damaged or destroyed, mostly) still under assessment. Ship and accident details for subscribers only.
