Austin Public Health and Travis County are partnering with local community groups to provide free COVID-19 vaccination clinics around the county through Monday. 

Pfizer for ages 5 and older from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Del Valle Opportunity Center, 5301 Ross Road. 

Pfizer for ages 5 and older from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dailey Middle School, 14000 Westall St. 

Pfizer for ages 12 and older, Moderna for ages 18 and older and Johnson & Johnson for ages 18 and older from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Southeast Library, 5803 Nuckols Crossing Road. 

Pfizer for ages 5 and older from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Harmony Science Academy, 903 E. Rundberg Lane. 

Pfizer for ages 12 and older from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at La Moreliana Market, 5405 S. Pleasant Valley Road #E.

The Austin Area Heritage Council announced celebrations to be held in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday. 

The 2022 MLK Youth Scholarship Awards will be presented via Zoom and Facebook Live. The program will recognize high school nominees and award eight scholarship winners.

The 2022 MLK Citywide Community Rally will begin at 11 a.m. Monday virtually and will consist of a motivational speech by the Rev. Richard A. Coaxum of St. Mary’s Baptist Church and a performance by Blue Vinyl Crates.
